KITTITAS COUNTY:
The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's office has an opening for a
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. The Deputy Prosecuting Attorney is
responsible for criminal prosecutions in Kittitas County and/or
providing legal counsel for Kittitas County government related civil
and criminal matter. The position also performs coroner
responsibilities on a rotating basis by supervising all aspects of
investigation into unattended deaths in Kittitas County. This is a
full-time, non-union position.
Essential Functions: Responsible to carry out the duties of
Deputy Prosecutor as directed and assigned by the Kittitas County
Prosecuting Attorney. May be assigned to any or all of the following

Graduation from
an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate degree followed by
admission to the Washington State Bar. Two
(2) years of experience in criminal and/or civil practice preferred. A

convictions. Convictions will not necessarily disqualify you from
employment. Factors such as age and time of the offense, seriousness
and nature of the violation, and rehabilitation will be taken into

opening for Industrial Insurance Appeals Hearings Judge.
Salary range $61,956 - $81,276 annually. The BIIA is a state agency
independent from the Department of L&I. The BIIA hears appeals
from decisions made by the Department in several areas. The
three principal types of appeals are: Industrial Insurance; workers'
compensation, Safety citations under the Washington Industrial Safety
and Health Act, Crime Victims' compensation. This is a
medium-sized agency under the administration of three, full-time Board
members. Duties: Presides over conferences and
hearings where evidence is presented pursuant to Rules of Evidence and
Superior Court Rules, and issues written decisions resolving appeals
filed under the Industrial Insurance Act, Crime Victims Compensation
Act, Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act, Health and
Safety-Asbestos Act, Washington State Explosives Act, Worker and
Community Right to Know Act, and other acts as determined by the
