U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY:
This is a
Senior Executive Service (SES) position located in the Office
of Regional Counsel (ORC) – Region 10, Office of Enforcement and
Compliance Assurance. We are recruiting for the position of Regional
Counsel located in Seattle, Washington.
The
Regional Counsel (RC) serves as Region 10’s principal legal advisor to
OECA, the Regional Administrator and Regional program managers and as
such has responsibility for providing legal advice and policy
recommendations on counseling and enforcement matters involving the
whole range of environmental issues regulated by the EPA. The RC also
serves as the region’s principal enforcement advisor responsible for
determining the goals, priorities, and objectives for the region’s
enforcement and compliance assurance program; and represents the
region in high profile matters in its dealings with outside parties.
Region 10’s activities are generally regional in scope. Region 10
encompasses Alaska and the Pacific Northwest states of Washington,
Oregon, and Idaho. Applicants must be a graduate from a law school
accredited by the American Bar Association and be a member in good
standing of a state, territory of the United States, District of

The Benton County Prosecuting
Attorney's Office is accepting applications for a Deputy
Prosecuting Attorney II in it's Adult Felony division. This is a
full-time, non-bargaining position with benefits.
Starting Salary Range:
$4953-5412 per month, DOE and DOQ.
Must
have a law school degree and admitted to Washington State Bar. At
least 2 years of legal experience required. Must have shown
good courtroom litigation and legal research skills. Must have
demonstrated an ability to work with victims, law enforcement and
defense counsel in the criminal division. Demonstrated a work ethic
and organizational ability that would allow a deputy to do work with

COWLITZ COUNTY:
Is accepting
applications
for a Child Forensic Interviewer. This position interviews
children who have been allegedly sexually or physically abused. The
interviewer will also perform general clerical and administrative
functions, including maintaining case records and program data,
preparing reports and assisting in finding and administering grants.
The interview will collaborate with other local agencies associated
with child protection, courts systems, advocacy, and law enforcement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work with
children is paramount. Must have ability to withstand scrutiny and
confrontation, testify in court, and accept peer review of work.
Knowledge of sexual abuse and its impact on children and families.
Knowledge of child development stages and a demonstrated ability to
use this knowledge to communicate with children. BS/BA degree in Early
Childhood Education, Child Development, Criminal Justice, Social Work,
or related field, and, three (3) years of experience working with
children. Employer will consider a BA/BS and a combination of
training/experience with children that would ensure the effective
performance of the duties of this job.
Must
possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
Must complete and pass a criminal background investigation and be at
least 21 years of age.
Salary range, $3,542 to $4,167 monthly, DOQ.
