Welcome to the Washington Association of Prosecuting
Attorneys Home Page. The Washington Association of Prosecuting
Attorneys (WAPA) was founded in 1975 and is a non-partisan,
non-profit service organization dedicated to the training
and support of county prosecutors. WAPA serves as a spokesman
for county prosecutors at the state and national levels
and acts as a liaison between counties and other levels
of government through research, training and lobbying.

WAPA extends its congratulations to newly invested Washington
Court of Appeals Judge Kevin Korsmo and his family. At the time
of his appointment to the bench, Judge Korsmo was a senior deputy
prosecuting attorney in Spokane County
